Such a good helper

I am so good at helping around the house, I'm not sure what Mom and Dad did before I came along. Here are some pictures of me in action:

Pushing the Swiffer
Sorting the silverware
Warming up the car

I also help unload the groceries and send the dirty laundry down the chute to the basement. However, my favorite job is feeding Murphy. Once he is eating, he doesn't mind me loving him with hugs and "gentle" pets.

Another fun weekend

I had another great weekend. Grandpa Jimmer and Grandma Sally came over on Friday night for Saturday's Michigan game.

Grandma read me a book on Saturday morning

During the game we played outside and listened on the radio. Mom and I match pretty good:

I also played with the little Impreza car that dad brought me home from Japan - it zooms all over the driveway!

Speaking of Subarus - let's GO GO GO! All of my daddy's friends and co-workers at Subaru in Japan read my blog, so I wanted to show them how much I enjoy riding in their sporty and safe cars. Thanks for being so nice to my dad when he was over there!

Al Fresco

I really enjoy eating outside at my picnic table. Here are some pictures of me from the weekend. I enjoyed a delicious ice cream sandwich and some Jimmy John's and bbq chips.

Dancing In the Streets

For the second year in a row, we went to Dancing in the Streets. They block off part of Main and Washington Streets downtown and they have dancing and music all afternoon. My favorite parts were the Irish dancers and the instrument petting zoo. Here Grandpa Jimmer is teaching me about the violin.

Later on, he and I danced the waltz. As you can see, I prefer the faster dance numbers; I like to shake my stuff!

After an afternoon of dancing, Grandma Sal and I decided to relax on the porch.
I have had such a fun weekend with Grandma Sal & Grandpa Jimmer. I hope your weekend has been fun, too.

Love,
Emily

Not The Victors

Well, the football season didn't get off to the kind of start I had hoped for, despite how cute I looked in my new cheerleading outfit.

I decided to start practicing in case Lloyd needs me next week. I'm pretty good at the lateral.

Go Blue!
