Santa Claus

visited Annie's last week. We had a Christmas party during the last hour of the day. In addition to having cupcakes with frosting , making crafts and singing along with Mr. G, I was able to meet Santa. He seemed pretty nice and gave me some Play-Doh, which I love to play with.

We were even able to take a picture of the whole family with Santa. Ho, ho, ho!

First Snow

We had our first big snow of the season last night. Mommy would like you to think that I am sad that Daddy missed it because he is on a test trip. But I am really just mad that I have to put all of this gear on to go outside!
Here I am checking things out. I am not sure I am a fan. How much longer until we are in the Bahamas?

Happy Birthday, Daddy

Yesterday was my dad's birthday. I helped him open his present, a George Foreman G5 grill. I don't know how well it grills, but the package made a great spot for me to practice my climbing and jumping!

All Mommy wanted...

was a nice family picture. We were dressed up for the Subaru Christmas Party, but I was in no mood! No matter how many suckers and chocolate covered strawberries I got, I did not want to wear my sparkly shoes, give up my binky or let go of Mom.
Several rounds of diaper wrestling reduced my evening wear to this. Mom and Dad may have won the battle of the diaper, but I think I won the battle for being comfy.

I was having a super fun time running around the room, trying to help the bartender, painting ornaments, eating the paint and flirting with the boys. But Mom and Dad weren't having as good a time so it was time to go and this is the family picture we ended up with.

Maybe next year!

Tumble Bunny

I started taking gymnastics a few weeks ago. I am in the Tumble Bunnies class at Champion Gymnastics. My favorite events are the tumble track and the balance beam. Here is a picture of me in the foam pit after jumping off the tumble track.

Festival of Lights

Today I helped put the lights on the Christmas tree. I think they look really pretty. The blue lights and the bubble lights are my favorite. Mom says that I am available if anyone else needs help decorating their tree!

Cold Weekend

On Saturday we went to Flatsnoots Tree Farm to choose our Christmas tree. Daddy likes the smelly ones , Fraser Firs. I liked exploring in the "forest", but it was so cold that Grandma Sal and I turned into snowmen.
Sunday we went to my friend Charlotte's birthday party at Domino Farms Petting Farm. It was fun to pet all of the animals. We even went on the hayride, but we really had to bundle up.

Friends from Japan

Last week a few of my dad's friends from Japan came to Ann Arbor to do some suspension testing. They got to stand by the big truck when it dropped off its trailer at Subaru - I wish I could have been there, I love big trucks!

Later that week, dad's friends came over to our house for a BBQ. Mr. Arai brought me a Nintendo stuffed dog and helped me read a book:


Mr. Arai has children back in Japan, so I'm sure he missed them a lot during his trip to America. Dad's co-workers at Subaru are always very nice to him when he visits Japan, so I'm glad they could come to visit our house and have a good time!

Owen Comes to A2

Hi guys - hope you all had a fun weekend like me!

Last Thursday I went to the Toledo zoo with some friends. I discovered junior sized race cars - look out for Racer Emmy!
(yes dad, I would have chosen a Formula 1 or rally car, but all they had was NASCAR)

On Saturday, Grandma Gail, Grandpa Gary and Uncle Dean, Aunt Trish and Owen came over. So did Grandma and Grandpa Roach from K-zoo - ! I got a new kitchen and some play food to go in it - can you see how excited I was?







I also got to hold Owen!





Finally - my great-grandma Beth from grand Rapids made me some cookies! How did she know that I like cookies?

Purple Playdough

I've recently discovered Playdough. I really enjoy making my favorite shape - the circle - with the pretty colors. I only have purple at home, but at church I use red, blue, yellow and white.

Homecoming

This past weekend was U of M's homecoming. The game was early so I was able to go down and check out the pre-game action. I watched Grandpa Jimmer practice his saxophone with the Alumni Band. I also went to a tailgate party where I enjoyed several cupcakes and cookies.

School Days

I am in the Grasshopper room at Annie's Children's Center. Miss Abby, Miss Lena and Miss Liz are my teachers and I am learning so much. I can say apple, Abby and cat. I can sort shapes - my favorite is the circle. Here is a picture of me after a fun day at Annie's. Here I come class of 2028!

Cookie Monster

Cookie Monster is my favorite character on Sesame Street. I love learning about the letter of the day with him. Cookie Monster also says, "Cookies are a sometimes food." I ate a healthy dinner so I was able to have a cookie. Here are some pictures of me enjoying a Halloween Oreo.

I am so good at helping around the house, I'm not sure what Mom and Dad did before I came along. Here are some pictures of me in action:

I also help unload the groceries and send the dirty laundry down the chute to the basement. However, my favorite job is feeding Murphy. Once he is eating, he doesn't mind me loving him with hugs and "gentle" pets.

Another fun weekend

I had another great weekend. Grandpa Jimmer and Grandma Sally came over on Friday night for Saturday's Michigan game.

I also played with the little Impreza car that dad brought me home from Japan - it zooms all over the driveway!




Speaking of Subarus - let's GO GO GO! All of my daddy's friends and co-workers at Subaru in Japan read my blog, so I wanted to show them how much I enjoy riding in their sporty and safe cars. Thanks for being so nice to my dad when he was over there!
